Sakharov, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, died in 1989.Other finalists this year included Vilma Núñez de Escorcia and Roman Catholic Bishop Rolando Álvarez — two emblematic figures in the fight for the defense of human rights in Nicaragua — and a trio of women from Poland, El Salvador and the United States leading a fight for “free, safe and legal abortion.”Amini died on Sept. 16, 2022, after she was arrested for allegedly violating Iran’s mandatory headscarf law. European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said that day will “live in infamy,” adding that her ”brutal murder" marked a turning point.“It has triggered a women-led movement that is making history,” she said as she announced the awarding of the prize to Amini and the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran.“The world has heard the chants of ‘Women, Life, Liberty.' Three words that have become a rallying cry for all those standing up for equality, for dignity and for freedom in Iran," Metsola said. Women have played a leading role in the protests, with many publicly removing the compulsory Islamic headscarf, known as the hijab.The 27-nation EU has imposed sanctions on Iranian officials and organizations — including ministers, military officers and Iran’s morality police — for human rights abuses over the protests.“We stand with those who, even from prison, continue to keep women, life and freedom alive,” Metsola said. "By choosing them as laureates for the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought 2023, this House remembers their struggle and continues to honor all those who have paid the ultimate price for liberty.ʺAmini died three days after she was arrested by Iran’s morality police. While authorities said she suffered a heart attack, Amini’s supporters said she was beaten by police and died as a result of her injuries.Her death triggered protests that spread across the country and rapidly escalated into calls for the overthrow of Iran’s four-decade-old Islamic theocracy.Authorities responded with a violent crackdown in which more than 500 people were killed and over 22,000 others were detained, according to rights groups. The demonstrations largely died down early this year, but there are still widespread signs of discontent. 二 | 岛上树木茂密，山顶上是一个银白色的灯塔，远看与北京北海公园的白塔十分相似。左边是长堤，堤后就是军港，几艘055D大驱静静地停靠在码头，默默地守候着你我的生活静好。琴岛距东侧海岸370余米，有长长的海堤与陆地相连。在百度出行是购买琴岛公交卡乘公交车就可以登上琴岛，打卡琴岛灯塔，见证日军修建的军火库及其运送军火的小火车的铁轨，以更加辽阔的视角欣赏青岛的美景。青岛人民喜欢称它小青岛。

三 | 现在小青岛是青岛市的一个著名景观，文人墨客却把琴岛改称为青岛的雅号。听到琴岛的名字就觉得听到了琴声，其实不然。

四 | 在厦门岛的鼓浪屿上曾经听到过山上音乐学院的琴声，这几年也淹没在拥挤的人群喧闹中。珠海的长琴岛风景秀丽，也不过是地形似一把长琴而得名。由于是小众景点，有可能听到琴曲。

五 | 而青岛的琴岛，不仅仅是地形似一把古琴，还是因为有一个关于仙女在岛上弹琴的传说而得名。

六 | 青岛是中国最美的海滨城市，比海南的三亚、东北的大连、福建的厦门、广西的北海更胜一筹。也是我有生以来最早来到此地并且来的最多的海滨城市。童年时光在北京，少年时代与整个学生时代都在武汉。

七 | 我第一次看到大海是在大连，那是刚大学毕业进入铁四局下属的工程机械厂就被派来代表铁四局参加铁道部组织的机械制图新国标的学习。

八 | 可能是因为是参加新国标编写的大连工学院的白老师上课，就安排在旅顺口区的日式小楼里，好像还是张学良住过的地方。学习结束后利用转火车的机会我又到大连港看了港口的大轮船。第二次是去的深圳，就是到蛇口工业区附近的海边看了一下，没有看到美丽的风景。再就是来青岛了，一下火车就闻到海的味道。一个转身就是美丽的山海风景，海风拍打着礁石，掀起白色的浪花。风景秀丽并且别具一格的海中栈桥把视线移到停泊在军港的舰艇，不禁让人想到苏小明的《军港之夜》那柔美的旋律。

九 | 在长江边长大并且酷爱游泳的我，特别喜欢宽阔的水面，所以向往大海。像伟大领袖毛主席那样，并且是响应老人家的号召，喜欢到大江大河里游泳，到风口浪尖上去锻炼。到中流击水，浪遏飞舟的意境，鼓舞着我们那一代人奋斗的脚步。当然，比大江大河更好的是大海，每次看到大海都给我留下深刻的印象。来青岛最频繁的时期是90年在铁四局济青公路指挥部的那几年，一到星期天休息就结伴来青岛游泳。离开济青公路后又来青岛参观过海尔集团张总怒砸电冰箱的现场，几次过来给国家注册审核员讲课，还有岛相关企业的审核工作。退休了，赶上在中科大当老师的儿子应山东省人工智能学会的邀请今天在黄岛组织了一个国家级的芯片领域的学术交流会议，并且需要讲一个主题讲座。暑假期间，为了看着两个孙子，把我们老两口也带来了青岛。从青岛火车站坐一号线地铁半个小时就经过凤凰岛与团岛，穿越了海底隧道来到黄岛的希尔顿金沙滩大酒店。希尔顿金沙滩大酒就在黄岛金沙滩的海边，海边就是每年举行青岛啤酒节的地方。形似鲲鹏展翅的建筑物是伸向海空的臂膀是正在上演着高空蹦极的活动。

十 | 酒店的服务也确实不错。行政餐厅从早上六点半的早餐、下午两点到五点的下午茶点、晚上五点半到九点半的晚餐都是免费的，午餐也是自助餐。各种海鲜、肉类与水果菜蔬品类繁多、制法齐全。实在是琳琅满目、喷香诱人。可惜到了我这个年纪，食量萎缩，只能是少而精的挑选最好吃的东西来品尝，主要任务就是陪孙辈用餐了。看着周围那些油光锃亮的黑人和体态肥胖的白人还在大口朵颐的进食也十分令人羡慕。作者近照作者简介：张卫民，1955年6月出生，为恢复高考后的武汉理工大学汽车拖拉机首届本科毕业生；1999年，合肥工业大学管理科学硕士研究生班毕业。担任过助理工程师、工程师、高级工程师、设备科长、改扩建办主任、安全质量管理处质量管理科长、企业管理部体系管理处长等职务，主持过多项设计、修复、认证等项目的实施及技术管理工作，获省、部级科技进步奖多项；主编教程和发表技术、管理类论文20余篇。2004年，获安徽省质量管理专家证书；2005年，获中国质协的全国优秀培训教师称号；2006年，获质量、环境、职业健康安全管理体系的国家注册高级审核员资格；2009年，获国家注册审核员培训教师与审核员继续教育教师资格；2013年至2014年，获国家质监总局首席质量官培训教师设备监理工程师培训教师和安徽省省政府质量奖评审员资格。
